Today is my mom’s birthday. Since I don’t have a picture of her to share (she’d kill me), I thought I’d share a picture with her birthday present in the background lol On Sunday I cooked lunch for Mom, Harold and Grandma and used my card table for the first time (for something other than wrapping presents). I also used my new place mats which are gorgeous and folded in half because a card table is too small for four full sized place mats!

It’s snowing here in Indiana, and I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m hoping for a snow day tomorrow! A lot of schools and businesses have already announced their closing.

It took him a bit, but after he got some practice, I think Killian really started to get that unwrapping presents thing figured out! The attention span, not so much… and definitely didn’t appreciate us taking the toys away to open something new!

I’m thinking I missed a good Self Portrait Sunday opportunity here!

Tree 3 of 3! This is the tree at my Grandma’s house. Isn’t it pretty?

A little snowman tealight holder I found in the Christmas decorations at work. I guess it used to be Janette’s. His nose got chipped, but we decided to pretend it’s snow on his nose. He’s still cute, so he’s sitting on the back part of my desk.

This is the tree I decorated at work. What do you think? It took a lot of time, and a lot of work to get it to stop looking completely sad. If you look at the very bottom row of lights, they’re not lit when the rest of them are. For some reason, that much of the lights started blinking. Probably not a good sign, but I called it DONE! This is tree 2 of 3 that I decorated this year… the third one was the next day.
